Through amazing scrappy entrepreneurial pirate franchise owners and centralized support, this brand willed itself into existence. Forty years of growth and 175 stores later, the business was ready to build out a modern infrastructure. Realizing the opportunity at hand, mission one was a unified, modern identity.
With hundreds of stakeholders and generational conventions, this game was reduction. Without simple consistency, brand awareness wasn't going to grow. Limit color, font, make a flexible mark, with centralized consistency.
Armed with a comprehensive set of day-1 materials, we assembled our 500 closest friends in a silent ballroom to deliver the pitch. In an intense moment, we moved forward as one. An epic party ensued.
